NORDLYSOPPLEVELSE

NORDLYSOPPLEVELSE Eventyret starter på kvelden fra Hytta og vi tar turen til vårt nordlystelt i skogen. Her gjør vi opp bål og bruker teltet som basecamp, hvis himmelforholdene tillater det kan vi nyte dette majestetiske naturshowet. En unik utstilling på himmelen kombinert med et uberørt landskap er en opplevelse for livet. Hvis guidene anser det som nødvendig, av værgrunner, kan det hende at turen ikke går til nordlysteltet i skogen, men skal overføres med bil til et bedre sted for å se lyset.

We board our boat located in the harbour in Nord-Lenangen, some minutes away from the lodge. Our captain sails a Targa 46, a high-speed boat that can cover long distances quickly, so we sail where the whales were last observed. When we find these beautiful giants, we can get close to them, which creates perfect moments for good photos and great experiences. During the search, we will sail through magnificent nature. Should we be unlucky not to see whales, the trip will be a unique experience.

I vårt område er det mange fine utsiktspunkter. Værforholdene avgjør hvor vi starter dagens tur. En svært populær tur er ruten til fyret på Lyngstuva. Vi vil utforske forskjellige spor i snødekte skoger med fantastisk utsikt. Vandring i de stille fjellene midt på vinteren er en fredelig og frisk opplevelse.

Drive on a snowmobile safari in outer Lyngen, surrounded by the Lyngen Alps. We follow the snowmobile trail up the mountain. The trail starts with simple and flat roads. Here you learn to handle the snowmobile and use it as a tool for exploring this fascinating nature. During the trip, we will stop at several places so we can take pictures or just look at nature's beautiful scenes. Seeing the mighty Alps while you are so close to the sea is very special and gives a powerful impression. We will drive in pairs, with an opportunity to change drivers halfway if desired. You must be above the age of 18 and hold a valid driving license to drive a snowmobile.

This trip is about exploring and going through varied terrain in a majestic landscape. Because the trip is quite long and with challenging trails, you need to be in good physical shape. Along the way, we have a short stay to make a fire, have a coffee, and enjoy some snacks. The sledge will be shared by two passengers, driving each one half of the trip. Before leaving, you get the chance to help change the harness on the team and also greet our Alaska huskies. An incredible bond arises between the huskies and the people on the sleigh. You will quickly learn to guide and talk to them, and if there is one thing the Huskies love, it is running and getting a hug. This is a trip where you will experience friendship with animals, beautiful scenery, and fantastic views in the heart of the Lyngen Alps.
